Who is he?
Cole is the leader of Echo Canyon Farm, a peaceful-looking commune that Tommy Crane joined before his death. He's played by Damon Herriman.
What he does at Echo Canyon
Cole controls the farm and the people living there. In episode 6 he publicly punishes a woman named Judith to show who's in charge.
His partnership with Woodrow
He's in business with Pierce Woodrow, the CEO of Invection Pharmaceuticals. Underneath the farm the two of them run a lab where a drug is tested on vulnerable people.
The murder
Neagley gets confirmation in episode 3 that Cole ordered Tommy's murder.
Who's above him
Above them is a wealthy Scandinavian businessman, Arvid Rawlings, whose identity comes out in episode 7.
What happens to him
In the finale, Neagley and her team raid Echo Canyon. Cole is left underground when the silo beneath the farm is destroyed, and the show appears to kill him off.
