Who is he?
Riley is a detective who partners with Neagley from episode 1, when she starts questioning whether Tommy's death was an accident. He's played by Greyston Holt.
His family
Riley's father is in jail, and in episode 7 that draws him into trouble. He visits his father for account information tied to the drug conspiracy. His father's price is a favour: make evidence in a gambling case disappear.
The Murphy problem
In the same episode Riley destroys the evidence for his father. A fellow cop, Murphy, catches him and confronts him about it, and Riley kills him. He hides the body.
Riley and Neagley
Over the season the two grow closer. Both are chasing answers that lead back to their fathers.
Where he ends up
In the finale, Riley helps Neagley raid Echo Canyon and rescue Keno. He's clearly interested in her, and she doesn't shut it down, but she puts her own recovery first. He stays close as part of her new team.
