Who she is
Neagley is a former U.S. Army Master Sergeant who served with Jack Reacher in the Military Police's 110th Special Investigations Unit. After the unit broke up she became a private investigator in Chicago. She's played by Maria Sten.
Her friendship with Reacher
Reacher took her under his wing in the Army. They still look out for each other, which is why he appears in her show.
Where she's been in Reacher
She's been in Reacher across seasons 1 to 3. Season 2 is the big one. Maria Sten is a main cast member there, and Neagley pulls Reacher in when one of their old teammates is murdered.
Her aversion to touch
Neagley has a long-standing aversion to being touched. It's part of who she is in Reacher, and her own show digs into it.
In the books
She debuted in Lee Child's 2002 novel Without Fail and has appeared in several more books since. Lee Child is also co-writing a Neagley novel, Zero Margin, due in March 2027.
Her own show
